Mixing a brew of freelancing and writing in the pan of social media
There are so many things you would like to change.
The state of the world today, the state of the people around you, the state of the locality you live in, the state of your country and the state of your personal life — you want changes everywhere.
You wish it was Christmas already and it would be wonderful if ‘Dear Santa Claus’ could grant you just one small wish. A Time Machine for you. 🙂
Wouldn’t you be so happy? What fun you would have with your own Time Machine. What adventures you would go on! What limitless things you could accomplish if you could go to the past and change certain things. What amazing wonders you would see if you could travel to the future.
You could transform the world as you know it. You could create such an imaginative destiny for yourself that you would be proud of what you achieved with your Time Machine. 🙂
You could be the Hollywood film character Marty Mcfly who got a chance to travel in the DeLorean Time Machine that was a car in the famous film trilogy – Back to the Future. You could even be an English scientist called simply ‘Time Traveller’, a character created by HG Wells in his famous novel ‘The Time Machine’ which was made into Hollywood films.
If you are an Indian and if you had a Time Machine where you could travel to the future, then I am guessing there are three things you would love to know immediately that have pan-India importance. 🙂
If you are a non-Indian, then I’ll just take one guess here on what you would like to know about the future that has global importance using your Time Machine.
How I wish you could have your own personal Time Machine! 🙂
With such power, I hope you will do responsible things, not just for yourself, but for the betterment of the world.
I wish…I wish…I wish…If wishes were horses, I don’t know about you, but I would have 10 stables of lovely Arabian high-quality horses.
But, let me point your mind to something else here. Do you know that you have a Time Machine?
What! Yes, you are allowed to say this right back to me. You have a Time Machine and I’ll say it again and again. There’s just a small difference. This Time Machine of yours can take you anywhere into your past and your imagined future only. You cannot travel anywhere else using your Time Machine but in your own lived universe and your future universe that you imagine.
This Time Machine of yours is your amazing mind. It can take you anywhere in your past and imagined future effortlessly. But there are limitations. Your mind can take you there all right, but you remain an observer of what’s happening in front of you, either in the past or future.
You cannot step out of your time machine and make any changes that you would really like to. That’s the only power your Time Machine has. You can go from your Today to Yesterday or Tomorrow, and then come back to Today.
And here in Today, you realise something important. Your wonderful or its opposite past is over and gone Yesterday. Nothing can be done about it. But your Tomorrow is yet to come.
You still have the power to create a wonderful Tomorrow that will be a wonderful Yesterday, if you do just one thing.
Forget your Time Machine for some time. Live in the Today in such a way that you can be grateful for getting a lovely Tomorrow and Yesterday.
