Two Priorities For Small Business Owners

Being a small business owner is a different kind of challenge. It involves managing not only building the profit-end part of business, but also keeping a sharp lookout on managing and making effective strategies for your business.

Here are two priorities that I would like to add to the multiple responsibilities of a small business owner. I know I am adding to the weight, but I hope this will make your business muscles stronger.

1. Manage your Google Business Profile:

Priority One is to manage your Google Business Profile to the best of your ability. This is the first point of contact of any prospective customer who is searching for your business category on Google. If you play your cards right you can do wonders here and get Google to send you free business leads. Either you, the business owner, should ensure that you update your Google Business Profile regularly, or pay someone to do it for you. As long as there is an updated Google Business Profile, you have a good chance of being favoured by the Google algorithm as a business that can be recommended to potential searchers on Google for your business keyword.

If you are interested in this aspect and would like to discuss your Google Business Profile challenges with me, you can book a discovery call with me. Discovery Call link 👇🏼

2. Build Your Social Media Audience: Priority Two is to build your social media audience with your personal brand. Yes, it is your name brand, your personal brand that will be a big magnet to prospective customers to get attracted to your business, trust your business and buy from your business. You need to build your own social media audience, influence and following so that your prospective and current customers understand your skill, experience and knowledge of your products and services. This happens only when you establish your presence on social media regularly. The more everyone sees you sharing your thoughts and ideas about your business, the more such sharing builds your authority and trustworthiness.

If you are interested in exploring and developing your Social Media journey further, you can book a discovery call with me. In this short 15-minute video call we will discuss at what level of social media are you on and what more can be done for better results. Discovery Call link 👇🏼

Three Nice Quotes I Found

2. "Start simple. Share what you know. It's a good way to start, I think. ~ 👉🏼 Salma Jafri, YouTube Strategist

3. "Overthinking is the biggest waste of human energy. Trust yourself, make a decision and gain more experience. There is no such thing as perfect. You cannot think your way into perfection, just take action. ~ 👉🏼 S Mcnutt, Author
