Most Important Skill To Learn TodayYou may guess that the most important skill to learn is Digital Marketing, I may agree. But there is one skill that is even more important than digital marketing. It is 'personal marketing on social media'.If you are a professional or a business owner, then you are in the business of making an impact on specific groups of people. As a professional, your core focus group of people to influence and get them on your side are recruiters, HR managers and business owners. All the work that you do, the work experience that you accumulate, the skills you absorb and the certifications that you receive are geared to make an impression on your core group. 👆🏼 You impress your core group, you get rewards in the form of incentives, salary increase, a higher title, a better job and hopefully a great boss. How can professionals impress their core group? Besides their unique skills that all professionals possess that help them get a new job or keep a new job, there is one skill each professional must develop. That skill is how to market themselves on social media. More specifically, how to create videos, reels and YouTube shorts where you discuss your career and skills in an honest manner and show the world that you have expertise in your sector or category. How can business owners impress their core group? What about business owners and who are they trying to impress? If you are a business owner, then you have a core group of other business owners and direct customers. Every product that you have made or any services that you have developed, it is all done to serve your core groups. Other business owners could be those you may like to collaborate with to get higher reach and interest in your products and services that keep your company going. Why would they want to collaborate with you? That’s what you need to consider. Then there are direct customers that your business is serving. Why would they continue to want to buy your products and services? At this point, you need to realise that it is not just digital marketing of your company’s product and services that can make an impact on your core group. You, the business owner, have to come into the picture, more specifically come in the promotional videos. Once your core groups see your face and voice talking on camera, they get to have a better understanding of you and the company that you own.
